Terms of Service
The terms of using IDOP Cloud.
Last updated:
Working draft. This text describes how the service works today. Before paid services begin it will be reviewed and completed with the operator’s registration details. Questions: legal@idoplabs.com
These terms govern your use of IDOP Cloud at https://cloud.idoplabs.com (the "Service"), provided by IDOP LABS ("we"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you accept them for that organisation.
1. The Service
The Service lets you open, run, create, store and share IDOP documents and other files in your browser. You can open and run documents without an account; storing files and creating share links requires one. We may add, change or remove features. The free plan is provided as it is; paid plans, when offered, are described on our pricing page and in the checkout, and payment is processed by our payment provider.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and give a valid email address. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Security; deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
3. Your content
You keep all rights in the files and documents you store or share. You grant us only the permission needed to host, store, transmit and display them to you and to the people you share them with, for as long as you keep them in the Service. We do not use your content for advertising or to train models.
You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to it. Do not use the Service in ways that our Acceptable use policy forbids.
4. Documents run code
An IDOP document contains a small application. The Service validates every document before it runs and runs it in an isolated sandbox without network access unless you grant it, and it never gives a document your keys. Still, a document can display anything: only open documents from people you trust, and read what a document asks for before you allow it. When you allow a document to use an external service with your key, requests and costs at that service are between you and that service.
5. Sharing
A share link lets anyone who has it open what it points to, until it expires or you withdraw it. Anyone who can open a document can keep a copy of it; "read-only" is not copy protection.
6. Reporting illegal content
To report content you believe is illegal or violates these terms, write to abuse@idoplabs.com with the link, the reason, and your contact details. We review reports promptly, may remove content or disable links, and will tell the person concerned why, unless the law prevents it. This address is also our single point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Keep copies of documents that matter to you — they are files, and you can download them at any time. We may change these terms; we will announce material changes in advance, and if you do not accept them you may delete your account.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the free Service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or the rights a consumer has under mandatory law.
9. Suspension
We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or where the law requires it. Where possible we will warn you first and give you the chance to download your files.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Polish law, without depriving consumers of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
